Belinda contacted me back in September looking for a Moat House wedding photographer in Acton Trussell. I don’t usually start the wedding photography season until March, when it starts to go bananas, so it was a real pleasure to start the new year early at a lovely venue and for such a great couple.
The Moat House is a 14th century, grade 2 listed and moated manor house with an award-winning restaurant and function rooms, perfect for weddings. It has plenty of charm even in the winter months, but I’d love to see it in full bloom in the summer. They have some beautiful grounds, so I’m not surprised its been one of Staffordshire’s most popular wedding venues for the last 25 years!
What started out as a very miserable and cold day in Bicester turned into a lovely sunny (although chilly) day in Stafford. Fortunately Belinda and Jason left plenty of time after the ceremony (which was a little tearful) to capture some beautiful moments and were great to work with. We did however, have to move pretty fast as the sun wasn’t hanging around long. That said, I had a few ideas for when the sun had gone down, so we did have a bit of fun with some night time photography with Belinda and Jason braving the cold, putting a new twist on the huge tree outside the venue. ( See below 🙂 )
Thanks again for letting me be part of your day and for being so relaxed and enjoyable to work with!
